The Dominican Republic
In 2010, New Life began a partnership with Cruz de Vicente, a small community in the southwest Dominican Republic, with the goal of bringing holistic transformation to a community in need. There are many needs and opportunities for us to reach out to this community of 500+ families. To reduce sickness and improve sanitation, we are building 300 latrines. Through the Vacation Bible School outreach and visiting local families, we will be able to share the gospel with our new friends. Join us in our partnership with the people of Cruz de Vicente. 2013 LOCAL PROJECTS
Volunteers of America
The Postal Service Volunteers of America food drive is the largest in the county. Donations received go to help thousands of families throughout Snohomish County. Before the goods are distributed, they need to be sorted, organized and packaged. That’s where we come in! Come spend a morning at the food bank preparing donated items for local families in need.Date & Time: May 18 | 10am-1pm
Volunteers of America assembles thousands of holiday food baskets for families, allowing them to celebrate with a special meal. We can be a part of caring for the needy and feeding the hungry by helping sort food and package these boxes to be distributed to families across Snohomish County.
Date & Time: TBA
Rake N Run
This fall service for New Life neighbors has become a tradition! We take the morning to rake the yards of those who live near the church. Rake n Run is a great first service project for kids or for anyone else with a heart to serve others. Help us show love and hospitality to our neighbors in a practical way—and have fun doing it! Date & Time: November 9 | 8:30am – 12pm
Location: Neighborhood around New Life
