Who We Are

The Ministry Institute is a partnership program with  New Hope Christian College in Eugene, Oregon that is designed to empower Christ followers with the theological training and leadership necessary to answer God’s call to help a broken world. We exist to foster a passion for God, theological training, and leadership skills so that Christ followers become people who impact whatever sphere of influence God has placed them in.

Our Partnering School

New Hope Christian College is an accredited, four-year private college that was founded in 1925. The school’s chancellor is Wayne Cordeiro, who also leads the Pacific Rim College Consortium, of which New Hope Christian College is a part. Wayne is also founder and senior pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Honolulu, Hawaii, which grew to over 12,000 people in 16 years. Wayne has planted a total of 102 churches.

Spring 2013 Course

OT Praise & Wisdom Literature | April 4 - June 6 | 2-Semester Credits
Join us for this study of the biblical books of Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon. The literary structure and meaning of each book is analyzed with emphasis upon overall organization and themes that provide context for detailed study of particular passages. Principles of interpretation specific to poetic books are emphasized, concentrating on the characteristics of Hebrew poetry.
 
Class is Thursdays from 6-9PM in the New Life Chapel. Cost for 2-semester credits is $395, or $50 to audit.
